Namibia: Hockey Set for Rundu (AllAfrica.com)

SANLAM Namibia and the Namibia Hockey School of Excellence will host their annual tournament for young hockey players in Rundu on August 8. The announcement was made at the official handing over of N$11 000 to the hockey school at the offices of the Namibia Sports Commission (NSC).

Accra, July 7, GNA - Cellular giants, MTN on Tuesday presented a 20,000 Ghana cedis sponsorship package to the Local Organising Committee (LOC) of the Hockey Africa Cup for Nations, Ghana 2009. The package made up of 12,000 Ghana Cedis cash and 8,000 Ghana cedis worth of MTN products was the Communication giant’s contribution towards the successful hosting of the July 10 to July 18 championship …

Healthy Erik Johnson among 34 invited to USA Hockey camp (USA Today)
